The form of this quirky tape dispenser is an abstracted snail, a reference to the sticky trails that snails leave, which happen to look like clear tape.

While playful in appearance, this tape dispenser is actually a considered study in form, weight, and ergonomics.

Modeled and rendered in an afternoon. (2015)

A generous gap between the cutting bar and cast iron body makes dispensing tape fast and precise. The body is cast iron which offers heft and stability. The tape holder and cutting bar are solid copper, serving as unique accents to the gray powder coating.
